Whether you are visiting or a resident, you will be overwhelmed by the choice of dining out in Sydney. One of the best things about Sydney is that you are spoilt for choice and can tailor to the wide variety of choice to your taste. Sydney’s Fine Dining is definitely not lacking and Bentley Restaurant & Bar is at the top of my list for the best fine dining restaurants in Sydney.
Bentley Restaurant & Bar
Bentley Restaurant & Bar is an award-winning, 2 hat restaurant that has a dark and sexy vibe with ambient mood lighting. A great place for a romantic dinner for 2. Expense wise I would give it $$$- given that it is considered to be a fine dining restaurant, it is a bit expensive, however you definitely get your money’s worth.
Straight from the first course my taste buds were delighted! I love being surprised and I definitely felt that way from the variety of dishes served in this course. The Kingfish was melting in the mouth and I was exceptionally impressed with the Cavolo Nero (dehydrated Kale chips with a delicious dip)
The veal was neither here nor there but the other dishes were delicious. I could definitely have snacked on some more of the Crisp Potato!
Ok, this course makes my mouth water just even thinking about it! The Marron was cooked well- it wasn’t dry or chewy and the Onion Broth was so yummy. I had to stop myself from licking the bowl clean!
Awesome Tours in Sydney:The Rib Cap was cooked to perfection and everything on the dish worked together. The Tomato salad with the Camel’s Milk Curd was soft and creamy and was a nice finish to the course.

I have to rave about the Olive Oil Ice Cream! This was my favourite out of the dessert dish and I didn’t want to share! I also enjoyed the soft, creaminess of the Goats Milk Sorbet. The Stracciatella on top of the Lemon Sorbet was impressive but at this point it was getting to be a bit much. I would have been ok with just 2 dishes here as I am not a lover of too much sugar and sweetness.
Great Food Tours in Sydney:Would I return here? Yes. I love good food and that’s what you get at Bentley Restaurant & Bar.
The Good Stuff: Delicious food? Check. Bentley offers a wide variety of choice (They offer a vegetarian option too) and their dishes are interesting and unique. I want to mention here as well that the wait staff were very professional and friendly.
The Bad Stuff: If you don’t like eating in the dark with only a table lamp to see then maybe steer clear.
I had the seasonal Tasting Menu (Feb 2019) – $180
