One of my most memorable and emotional trips was to Paris. A city that cannot be explored only one time and a place that I have vowed to revisit one day. And I can proudly tick off some things off my Paris Bucket List.

See the Eiffel Tower
I still remember seeing the Eiffel Tower for the first time. I cried.
Be sure to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower as it does have a fantastic view over the city and is an iconic experience.
Pro Tip: Purchase a Batobus ticket which is the Seine River Hop On Hop Off boat. It’s super convenient to get around and stops at a lot of famous landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame and the Louvre.

And then of course you have to go back to see it at night! I can’t choose which I love better- day or night- it is beautiful either way! The light show at night is pretty spectacular to see though, as it not only is lit up but there is intervals where they turn on flashing lights and it looks like the tower is sparkling!
Eat a picnic under the Eiffel Tower
There is nothing more romantic than a Parisian picnic underneath the Eiffel Tower. Be sure to fetch your ingredients from around the city, including cheese, baguettes, macarons, salted caramels, and a bottle o’ the finest French bubbles money can buy!
Visit the Palace of Versailles
A fantastic day trip to the Versailles Palace and Gardens is a must on your Paris Bucket List.

Watch a Cabaret at Moulin Rouge
I know this was at the top of my Paris Bucket List. I’ve wanted to see the cabaret show at Moulin Rouge for sooo long and I finally got to do it! I can honestly say it was an experience. Something I couldn’t predict or imagine what it was going to be like at all. Once considered scandalous, this now awe-inspiring show will definitely raise a few eyebrows.
Go on a tour of the catacombs
Head underground in Paris to enter the catacombs and see a different side to Paris many do not know even exists.
View Paris from the towers of Notre Dame Cathedral
Notre Dame is French for “Our Lady” and refers to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Construction of the cathedral took almost 200 years, almost as long as the entire gothic period, and most would agree it is one of the most important examples of the Gothic style architecture in the world.
Up in the towers you can see the famous gargoyles up close and they give a great perspective in photographs. Lines can be long so be sure to arrive early.
Climb the stairs of the Arc De Triomphe
The Arc De Triomphe sitting 30m high was built as the primary purpose to celebrate the victory of Napoleon. Nearly 600,000 people visit the Arc de Triomphe each year. A very beautiful monument sitting right in the middle of a chaotic roundabout.
See the Mona Lisa at the Louvre
The Mona Lisa painting is one of the most emblematic portraits in the history of art, painted by Leonardo da Vinci in the 16th century, it joined the collections of the court of France before being added to the works on display at the Louvre Museum.
Eat a street crepe
And don’t skimp out on the nutella.

Paris is a mecca for cute little cafes, especially if you go beyond the main streets and explore the hidden alleyways.
Visit Sainte-Chapelle
Built in the early 13th Century, Sainte-Chapelle chapel is home to one of the most gorgeous displays of stained glass you will find.
Walk along Pont Alexandre III
The Pont Alexandre III is a deck arch bridge that spans the Seine in Paris. It connects the Champs-Élysées quarter with those of the Invalides and Eiffel Tower. The bridge is widely regarded as the most ornate, extravagant bridge in the city.
